CCIL members are independent

They are not affiliated with their customers or with any product manufacturer, trade group, government body, academic institution or other organization in any way that would compromise their professionalism. They have no vested interest in the outcome of the testing results, no conflict of interest, and they are therefore able to conduct investigations and render reports objectively and without bias. Whether it is the safety of consumer goods, the quality of food, the strength of construction materials, or the environmental performance of manufacturing or resource operations – independent testing ensures the highest level of confidence in the results.
