Cengiz Guldemet

Cengiz is a registered professional engineer in BC and Yukon with over 30 years of experience in materials engineering, QC/QA testing, design, production and troubleshooting of ready-mix concrete. He has worked at Metro Testing & Engineering Ltd. (Burnaby) since 2004 and is currently the Director of Quality for the group. He is actively involved in the training and education of technicians and oversees the CCIL certification of several laboratories. He has recently taken on the ACI Concrete Field-Testing Certification Programme for the ACI BC Chapter. Cengiz has been active with the BC Chapter of ACI since 2002 having served as President and Past President. Additionally, Cengiz is active with the CSA A283 Committee and serves on the CCIL National Board of Directors. He is a member of the Concrete BC’s Bard of Directors, Co-Chairs the Education Committee and is a member of the Technical Committee. Cengiz received Concrete BC’s award for “Outstanding Contribution to the Industry” in 2012.
