The Canadian Council of Independent Laboratories has launched CCIL Supports STEM Students, a multifaceted program designed to help young people further their education and advance their careers in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
CCIL and its members – the independent, private-sector testing laboratories across Canada – provide scholarships, co-op placements, summer jobs, and other opportunities for STEM students. The program also encourages these students to consider a career in the testing industry.

CCIL provides scholarships in such fields as chemical and environmental technology, materials engineering, and civil engineering technology through its various partners across Canada. Learn more.
CCIL’s members operate more than 460 laboratory facilities across Canada. Many offer co-op placements, hire summer students, and actively recruit new STEM graduates.
CCIL is working with Tech-Access Canada on an initiative aimed at creating enhanced learning experiences for students at colleges affiliated with Technology Access Centres. For further information, click here >
