About CCIL

CCIL (Canadian Council of Independent Laboratories) is an association representing independent consulting, testing and inspection companies across Canada.

CCIL promotes certification by standards bodies or through special programs to meet specific needs. CCIL works closely with the Canadian Standards Association, The Canadian Association for Environmental Analytical laboratories and our sister organization in the United States, The American Council of Independent Laboratories. CCIL is also an active member of the Union Internationale des Laboratoires Independants (UILI), the worldwide organization representing the independent laboratory industry. Through these and other organizations, CCIL provides its members with the latest information on advancements in laboratory testing standards and procedures from around the world, industry trends and forth-coming national and international government policy.
